Daddy long legs

The daddy long legs has 8 legs. It doesn't matter if it losses one of it's legs. Because it can still move around just fine. It normally does this when an enemy is trying to kill it. Because there legs are so long the enemy can just grab hold of them. But the daddy long legs just lets go of it's leg and runs away.

Giant spider grabs

Every year the water cools on the southern shores. And  hundreds of giant spider crabs hang around in the shallow waters. They are at the shallow shores at Melbourne Australia. they are 70 cm long and 17 cm wide that is a really big crab but it gives other sea life to have a feast. this happens from about May to July. I would not like to be in the water with them.

I think smartphones are great because they are fun.they are very interactive.they are easier to use and are helpful.they very protective of your data and apps.

Calling easier on smart phones.It is easier to hear what they're saying.It is easier to call people if you have the contact number in there phone.smart phone can connect to your car so you can hand free calling.you can leave voice messages if they don’t answer.

Messaging is easier to use on smartphones.It is easy to show you emotion instead of typing it.it is quicker to message people couse as soon as it is sent they can read it.you can talk to it and they can hear it.

Apps are great on smartphones.you get great social media apps on your phone.you can play multiplayer apps with your friend.you can get a video chat your family and friends.

This is why i think smartphones are great.Apps are great on smartphones.Messaging is easier to use on smartphones.Calling easier on smartphones.

My birthday

It was my birthday on the 25 of June. on Saturday night we planned to go to chart well in Hamilton. To watch cars 3. It was a really good movie. And when we got out of the movie theatres we got butter chicken and Starbucks. It was yummy. The next day on Monday morning I got up and opened my present. It look like a small box. I unwrapped it no way it was an I phone 6s. Then I started to set it up

Word of the week Matariki

Matariki means the seven stars they come out mid winter late May or early June. also known as the seven sisters. it also represents a Maori new year. 

Supersized cat

Omar was the same size as the other kitten in his litter. He was taken home by Stephy Hirst in 2013. Now she is 120cm and could be the largest cat in the world. She even needs to use a dog crate to take him to the vets. Then the guinness world records contacted Stephy. To tell her to send them the measurements of Omar. The largest cat was 118 cm. But Omar is now the world's biggest cat.

IE reflection

For my IE creation I made a model of all the planets. And for my sharing I did  an emaze. With questions on it. I needed to get it done quicker instead of leaving most of my creation to the last minute. I was going to do string so the planets would just hang. but I decided to glue the planets on. Bit I really enjoyed sharing my IE.    

Glass bottom swimming pool

You can now swim in a glass bottom pool. And look down at a street and you can see the cars 150 metres below. It's on the 42nd floor up the market square tower. It extends 3 metres off the building. This not a swimming pool for people who are afraid of heights. It is located in Houston Texas. If you would like to go for a dip in the pool. It will cost US$1805 (NZ$2660) to rent the apartment for the week.

Before camp

My goal for camp is to do my best on most of the activities. I am coming on camp to find new skills that I haven't found yet. And I,m going to use connecting to get through most of my activities. If some thing go wrong when i,m doing something. I will ask a friend or teach. Or I will solve it my self. And I will here people connecting,learning and having fun.

World's most useful drink bottle

A group of  Chicago based inventors have come up with a smart bottle with a total of 15 functions The bottle can hold hot water and cold water at the same time. It has two compartments one hot one cold and you can join them together to make one hole drink bottle  you could use the hot water compartment to have a tea bag in it so you can have a cupatea.  

The future

I hop out of my hover bed and get ready for school. I say hey siri brush my teeth. Then a toothbrush comes out of my apple watch and starts brushing my teeth. Then I left to go to school hey siri open the front door. The door opens on the way to school I forgot to have breakfast.

So I say hey siri I'm hungry then the iPhone starts feeding me breakfast. I get to the school gate I wave my apple watch over the scanner. The gate opens then I walk Into the classroom.

IE

The point of my IE is to understand more about space and how big it is. I am going to learn about the planets and why space black. I will be confident when I  do my presentation. when I create my IE I,m going to not  give up use resilience to find out more information.

      

Expanding your brain

• To grow your brain you need to drink water,have lots of sleep and have brain breaks
• If you don't know what you are doing your brain will grow because it has to make new connections to learn.
• And the more you learn the more neurons will be created.

Pepeha

My pepeha is the history off where I grew up. I grew up in cooks beach. I lived there for 11 years. I have a drawing of my river on it. It is called purangi river. I used to go for swims there after school because there was a rope swing. Of a tree into the river.
